About Me
Hi, I'm Samuel Kim, a student at Bergen County Academies with a strong interest in learning new things and teaching others through hands-on experience.
My Journey
I've always been curious about how things work and how skills and technology can be used to solve real-world problems. At Bergen County Academies, I've explored these interests through rigorous academic coursework and independent projects, including research in the Mechatronics Research Lab under the mentorship of Carlos Nodarse.
I am also a nationally ranked competitive archer and lead Aim for Unity, a student-run nonprofit organization I founded that so far, has used archery to teach and engage over 500 senior citizens across 10 different senior centers. Along with my academic and research work, these experiences reflect my broader interest in continuous learning, mentorship, and community impact.
